Accountant / Book Keeper

This position reports to the General Manager on a day to day basis and they are expected to:

• Enter data into Accounting software tools
• Prepare monthly BAS statement & quarterly PAYG
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with quarterly forecasts
• Prepare standard month-end journals
• Prepare monthly Cash Flow
• Liaise & reconcile inter-company accounts
• Assist in the preparation of budgets
• Manage Accounts payable / Accounts receivables
• Prepare bank reconciliations
• Maintain and verify Fixed Asset Register
• Assist with the interpretation and analysis of financial results

The perfect match:

• Someone with full working knowledge of MYOB.
  
• Someone with advanced bookkeeping skills and at least 3-5 years working experience in financial accounts
• Experience with Excel is essential
• Australian tax experience
• Enthusiasm and a keen eye for detail
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and various finance applications
• Someone who fits with the Squiz team
