In the Business Analyst role our team members work closely with clients, project managers, implementation, design, sales and development staff. The role requires people to have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and a sound understanding of web relevant technologies.

In this role Squiz employees will:

• Prepare documentation; such as user requirements (business requirements specifications and system design specifications) and test plans
• Consult with clients regarding their needs and help design suitable solutions using our CMS and other web technologies
• Conduct Information Architecture and similar workshops with clients
• Design and manage functional / end-to-end testing for each new system

The type of people working in this role have:

• Experience in business analysis, IT consulting or software development
• Some relevant formal qualification (e.g. an University degree in IT)
• An ability to work effective in a self-directed and team environment
• Excellent comprehension
• Strong negotiation skills

They will be expected to demonstrate that they are proactive, responsible, and a quick learner.

Squiz has offices throughout Australia and one in London so part of this role will involve occasional travel.
