The Business Development Manager role primarily entails the identification and development of new business opportunities. The BDM works with a professional team to deliver tailored solutions to client's individual requirements, establishing long-term business relationships and ensuring continued growth.

Business Development Manager's at Squiz have a proven track record of sales achievement within previous similar positions, including 2 - 3+ years experience in targeting new business opportunities. Experience in the CMS market sector is highly regarded, although not essential.

Key Requirements -

  • Ability to manage IT solution selling and lead qualification
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to learn or practical technical experience and understanding of content management systems would be valuable
  • Ability to cold call, build account and business development plans
  • Experience developing strong customer relationships
  • Sales pipeline management experience
  • Strong skills with proposal development, preparation of quotes and understanding of internet technology
  • Ability to travel interstate.
