Pre-Sales Engineer

Due to a high level of organic growth, a challenging and dynamic role has become available at Squiz. A technical expert is required to liaise between the Squiz technical teams, Sales and our clients.

This is a pivotal role, and one that requires someone with strong technical skills and experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a good understanding of web technologies.

In this role, the successful person will work closely with a variety of high-profile clients looking to implement a quality enterprise-class CMS. You would be responsible for:

  • Business Analysis and assessing client requirements and information needs.
  • Presenting software to prospective clients (one-on-one and occasionally large groups) after the Sales team establish a relationship.
  • Providing client-focussed technical information during the sales process.
  • Working with our Tender Writer and Marketing Coordinator to ensure high quality Tenders and sales materials.
  • Liaising between clients, sales, project management and our very talented Development team to create written quotes for customised developments and ascertain appropriate information.

Squiz's clients include a mix from the Government, Corporate and Education sectors. You will need to be tech-savvy, client-sensitive, and business-smart so as to understand and be sensitive to the requirements of these differing users.

The role is based in our Head Office in Sydney, but will involve regular short interstate trips to meet with our national clients and work with our interstate offices.
