Implementation Specialist / CMS Trainer (Part-time or full-time hours are available)

Squiz is a leader in the Australian CMS market, using ever-changing technology to keep ahead of the competition. We provide a range of IT services around our hugely popular open source content management system, MySource Matrix, and we service a broad range of government organisations and private-sector clients.

Our Deakin office is looking for a skilled Implementation Specialist, someone who has the ability to conduct formal training to a range of clients, and provide implementation services throughout the project life cycle.

You will receive training in the use, application and development of the MySource Matrix CMS and will use your strong (X)HTML, CSS and Javascript skills to develop the front end of a number of high profile sites.

You will work with a keen and skilled team of Squiz project managers, trainers, and technical specialists.

A solid understanding of W3C (X)HTML standards and WAI Accessibility guidelines is a must.

Your working week will also include training our clients on our CMS and its modules, liaising with interstate employees about documentation, and providing input into a variety of projects.

This is a multi-dimensional role, so you will need to have good time management skills, a thirst for new challenges, excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, a knack for documentation, and a passion for the web. It would also be advantageous if you have had previous experience conducting training, particularly in a web environment.
