Event Attendee Terms and Conditions

By registering for and attending Squiz Summit (the “Event”), I hereby agree to the following:

I agree to release and hold harmless Squiz Australia Pty Ltd and its affiliates (“Squiz”), and Squiz’s employees, vendors, agents, representatives and contractors (collectively, “Representatives”) from any and all alleged and/or actual liability, claims, lawsuits, damages, or losses of any kind (“Claim”) which arise out of or result from my attendance and participation in the Event, including but not limited to property damage and personal injuries, whether or not foreseeable. I understand that the Event program schedule is subject to change at any time without prior notice, and that Squiz cannot guarantee the attendance of any exhibitor or speaker, or that any scheduled event will take place. I further agree that Squiz will not be held liable, and no reimbursement will be made, in the event of the cancellation or modification of the times, dates, and/or events of the Event as a result of an event that is beyond Squiz’s control.

Recordings: I understand that Squiz or its authorized Representatives may be photographing, video recording, webcasting, podcasting and/or conducting interviews at the Event. I hereby grant to Squiz and its authorized Representatives all rights and permissions necessary to use my name, likeness, biographical information, voice, content or any interview, image and/or photograph and any other indicia of my persona (the “Representations”) or to refrain from doing so, in any manner or media (whether now known or later developed, including without limitation the Internet), now and in the future, worldwide, for trade, advertising and/or promotional purposes. I agree I shall have no rights of review or approval, no Claim to compensation, and no Claim arising out of or resulting from the use, alteration, blurring, distortion or illusionary effect (whether international or otherwise) or use in any composite form of the Representations and agree to release and hold Squiz and its authorized Representatives harmless for any and all such use(s).

Personal Data Collection: By registering for and in the course of attending the Event, I understand that I will be providing personal data to Squiz, and I confirm that I have read and agree to the terms of the Squiz Privacy Policy (((lookup:url:144))) which explains how Squiz collects, processes and shares my personal data. I consent to my data being processed in accordance with Squiz’s Privacy Policy so that Squiz can optimize my experience with the Squiz brand, including consent to Squiz sharing and transferring my personal data across borders globally. Further, by registering for and attending the Event, I consent to receive communications about Squiz’s business from Squiz and Squiz-authorized third parties, in accordance with Squiz’s Privacy Policy. I understand that I can unsubscribe from email communications at any time.

Cancellations/Substitutions: I understand that cancellations and/or substitutions must be made in writing to Squiz will refund 50% of my registration fee, up to 4 October, 2019 at 5:00 pm (Sydney time). No refunds will be processed after this date. I understand and agree that meal and seating plans are based on event registrations, and any requests for changes after this date may not be guaranteed.

General: By registering for the Event I represent that I am 18 years of age or older and understand this is a requirement to attend any program or activity at the Event. I understand my registration for the Event is non-assignable, non-transferable and subject to the terms of this Agreement. Squiz reserves the right to deny registration or entry to any individual or entity for any reason, in Squiz’s sole discretion, including for past or present failure to meet Squiz’s standard of business conduct including, but not limited to, false pretences or engaging in violent, illegal threatening or discriminatory conduct. I understand that these Event Attendee Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the state of New South Wales.
