Roadmap update

In this roadmap update, the Squiz Product team focused on a range of new features and improvements aimed at two core areas:

  1. Build brilliant content fast, without dev reliance. Create and edit professional pages in minutes using an intuitive, no-code interface. Drag and drop components, personalize content, run A/B tests, and instantly improve content using GenAI content tools – all while maintaining brand consistency and freeing up your development team for more strategic work.

  2. Help users get answers, not just search results. Give users direct, accurate answers to their questions – not just a list of links – through a conversational search experience. Auditing tools ensure your content is clear, findable, and accurate – so whether users are on your website or asking questions through AI, they'll always get the right information.

Boost content editor efficiency with inline editing in the Visual Page Builder (General Availability)

The next generation of the Visual Page Builder features an inline editing interface that makes it even easier for non-technical users to build and update beautiful pages efficiently. Content editors can now craft stunning pages while seeing exactly how visitors will experience them – simply drag and drop components, edit directly on the page, and visualize everything in real-time.

Simplify content creation and asset governance with a Bynder DAM integration

Streamline content creation by giving editors direct access to approved images and assets in Bynder, right from the Visual Page Builder. Eliminate the need to switch between systems and prevent duplicate work, while keeping all imagery and assets consistently managed from a single source of truth.


Optimize user journeys with new user journey mapping (General Availability)

User journey mapping helps you understand how visitors navigate your website. You can map out key user journeys – such as registration flows or appointment booking journeys – then track how users actually interact with these journeys, from start to finish. With real-time insights on key drop-off points, page duration, and device impact, you'll have the information you need to streamline important journeys, boost conversions, and ensure your website helps users accomplish what they came to do.

Answer user questions instantly with AI-powered Conversational Search (Beta)

Upgrade your website's search from static links to direct, natural-language answers that instantly resolve customer queries. Our conversational search tool pulls precise insights from your content, giving customers fast, reliable information without the link-clicking runaround. With the ability to choose which sources power your answers – including options to include or exclude specific content – this solution empowers you to deliver more accurate, targeted support that boosts customer satisfaction.

Enhancements to the Customer Data Platform (CDP)

Two key enhancements are now available on the Customer Data Platform:

  1. Mutually exclusive segments: Previously, you could create segments that didn't overlap – ensuring customers couldn't belong to more than one segment within the same group. Now, you can:

    • Apply these segments to both anonymous and known users.

    • Create success metrics to track the effectiveness of personalization efforts for each of these mutually exclusive segments.

    • Set prioritization rules for your segments to ensure the most relevant segmentation is applied, while having the flexibility to override these rules based on users' most recent activity.

  2. Track and segment site search behavior: You can now track user search patterns, what they search for, and how they interact with the website after searching. This data can then be used to segment users based on their behavior to personalize their experience more effectively.


Analyze user journeys by segment for deeper insights

Understand how different user groups navigate your site based on the segments you define. Analyze and visualize user journeys by segments – for example international vs. local visitors – to uncover drop-off points and identify opportunities to improve content or personalization for each audience.


Streamline form completion with CDP-powered auto-fill

Create seamless form experiences by automatically populating fields across multiple applications using customer data from Squiz Customer Data Platform. Logged-in users will experience faster, friction-free form completion as their profile information auto-fills, improving conversion rates and reducing abandonment.


Logs service improvements

We’ve made some improvements that will help developers identify, investigate, and diagnose issues more efficiently. Key improvements include: 

  • Enhanced filtering: Customers can now filter logs by severity level, service, a longer date range, and much more.

  • Improved UI: Logs now display additional detail and metadata, making it easier to understand what happened and why.

  • Enhanced PII controls: Comprehensive audit trails track who views personally identifiable information (PII), with access restricted to users who have the necessary permissions.

  • CSV export: Customers can now export logs as CSV for deeper analysis. 


Centrally manage your API keys with the API key service

We've launched a user-friendly interface for creating and managing API keys, making it easier to establish secure connections between Squiz DXP and external applications. 

Key benefits include:

  • Streamlined key creation: Developers can now generate API keys quickly through a single interface, eliminating the need to navigate between multiple tools and reducing setup time.

  • Centralized management: Administrators gain complete visibility into all API keys with centralized control, making it simple to monitor usage, rotate keys, and maintain security standards across projects.

  • Enhanced security governance: Built-in permissions and audit trails help teams track key usage and ensure compliance with security policies. 


Asset Bank connector: two-way asset sync

Connect Asset Bank directly to Squiz DXP so files automatically stay in sync between both systems. This creates a smooth workflow that cuts down on manual file transfers and keeps everything organized in one place.

Examples of how this works:

  • Form uploads automatically save to Asset Bank when users submit files via a Squiz form

  • Search results can pull in and display assets from your Asset Bank library

  • Content editors can access approved assets from Asset Bank directly within the Squiz CMS
